The Khelben Renewable Energy Facility is located in the heart of
Libyan territory at the foot of the Khelben Mountain Range. Deep
reserves of oil and natural gas provide the region with energy,and
is now host to a shift in solutions as the world invests in green or
renewable energy. The new facility is currently under construction.
It is suspected that the KREF is backed by Nasser Energy Corp,
a rival company of SCOPETROL; the region's largest supplier for
oil and gas. Recently, satellite footage has indicated that the area
has played host to an unknown military presence, with technical
vehicles moving in and out of the region while unidentified military
personnel have been identified patrolling the facility for some time.
The United States Central Intelligence Agency suspects the area
is operating an illegal weapons trafficking and material refinement
operation; potentially serving as a front for the distribution of WMD
ingredients such as Yellowcake Uranium to non-local state actors.
At present, surveillance suggests that the facility is guarded both
at day and night, potentially in the lead up to a possible trafficking
deal; the identified militia appear to be reasonably well equipped...

- A tractor within the level is labelled 'Digzilla', a humorous nod to the size and scale of the vehicle.
- The skybox in the level indicates an area with arid terrain, some mistake this for the United States
but is infact suggested to be in Africa, leading some to suggest its location in Eritrea, Libya, etc.
