There exists a long standing culture of custom gamemodes in Ground Branch, built by the many players who seek to make the game more interesting. Despite a lack of tools for use by aspiring modders and game developers, Ground Branch does contain several playmode or gamemodes promoted by notable teams and servers on the Ground Branch player base.

Hostage Rescue Gamemode

In this unique custom gamemode, players are separated into two teams, with a hostage placed on the Blue team, sent to be guarded by the Red Team while Blue attempts their rescue mission. A summary of the rules are displayed on the right side, for new players.

Hostage Rescue Game Detailed Rules

The following is a summary of the detailed game rules for the hostage rescue gamemode. Please ensure you follow these rules, as failure to do so may result in a kick from server:

  • Team Structure
    • Min. Team Size: 4 BluFor / 1 Hostage / 3 OpFor
    • Max. Team Size: 6 BluFor / 2 Hostage / 8+ OpFor
       
  • Red Team Set Up
    • 01: Assigns a Team Leader
